Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75525-V 15 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75525-V 15m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding local area network installations. The cable supports Category 7 transmission characteristics and uses S/FTP shielding, combining an overall foil shield with individually screened pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable provides consistent signal transmission and corrosion-resistant connection points. The 15-meter length covers longer runs in offices, server rooms, or home networks, while the violet jacket helps visually identify the cable in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

Cat7 S/FTP construction offers improved protection against near-end crosstalk and external noise compared with lower category cables, supporting stable high-speed data transfer for modern network equipment. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable mating and reduced contact resistance over time. The 15 m length reduces the need for intermediate patch panels or extenders in many installations, and the brightly colored jacket simplifies cable management and identification within cable bundles or racks.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between workstation and switch across medium to long desktop or office distances
• Patch runs in server rooms, telecommunications cabinets, and data closets
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP, and large file transfers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required, such as near power equipment or dense cabling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield plus individually screened twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Conductor configuration: Twisted pairs
• Outer jacket color: Violet

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network interface of your device (PC, switch, router, or patch panel) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bending radii near the connectors and along the run; maintain gentle curves to preserve pair integrity and shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, route the cable through appropriate cable management paths and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its 15 m length without excessive coiling, keep bends above the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and terminate at compatible Cat7-capable equipment or shielded patch panels to preserve the S/FTP shielding benefits.
