Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.15B 0,15 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.15B 0.15m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed network links. It is built to Cat6a performance, featuring S/FTP shielding that combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 15 cm cable provides a compact, low-profile connection for patch panels, switches, routers and networked devices where a minimal cable length is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction improves signal integrity in environments with nearby cables and electronic equipment, enabling reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over short distances. The short 0.15 m length minimizes cable clutter and connection loss while providing mechanical stability at the connector. The cable is suitable for crowded rack environments and desktop setups where space is limited and interference control is important.

Suitable for

• Patching between adjacent ports in network racks and patch panels
• Short connections between switches and servers where minimal slack is needed
• Desktop or workstation connections behind network equipment
• Environments with significant electromagnetic noise requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a performance for up to 10 Gbps over suitable distances
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually foil-shielded pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.15 m (15 cm)
• Application: Patch cable for short-distance, high-speed networking

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the matching ports until the latch clicks, ensuring correct orientation to avoid damage to the clip. Use the cable to directly connect adjacent ports on switches, patch panels or equipment with minimal distance between ports. Avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain the cable’s natural curvature and ensure the shielded connector interfaces are properly mated with shielded ports where available to preserve the shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short patching runs within racks and cabinets, and pair it with shielded connectors and components when operating in electrically noisy environments. Avoid stretching or bending the cable beyond manufacturer-recommended radii and keep connections secure to maintain consistent network performance.
