Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.5 0,5m Cat6a S/FTP harmaa

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.5 0.5m Cat6a S/FTP Grey is a short patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in local networks. With Cat6a performance and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections over short distances. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in grey, it is suitable for tidy installations where a compact, shielded link is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. The Cat6a specification ensures bandwidth suitable for demanding applications, while the short 0.5 m length minimises clutter and latency in patch panels, switches, and workstations. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and plug-and-play convenience.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in rack units where minimal cable length is required
• Linking network equipment (switches, routers, NAS) placed close together
• Short workstation connections between wall outlets and desktop devices
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 8P8C
• Colour: Grey
• Supported speeds: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Conductor material: copper (solid or stranded as per standard patch cable construction)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable to connect nearby devices such as switches, patch panels, routers and networked storage. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain the bend radius recommended for Cat6a cables to preserve performance. If routing within a rack, position the cable to minimise bending and strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Choose this 0.5 m Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, shielded interconnects where interference reduction and high bandwidth are required. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain proper shielding continuity for best EMC performance.
