Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR-SET10 punainen 1m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR-SET10 Red 1m Cat6 S/FTP is a 1-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed network connections. Constructed to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable offers improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference in home or office networks. The red jacket provides clear visual identification for cabling runs and makes it easier to manage connections in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable uses S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding to protect against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between pairs, supporting stable data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance for consistent signal transfer. The compact 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter, and the coloured jacket simplifies cable management and port identification in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within a desktop or server rack setup
• Short link runs in home and small office networks
• Patching between ports in network cabinets and patch panels
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance class suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid or screen with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility (suitable for patch use)
• Colour: red jacket for visual identification

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as PCs, switches, routers or patch panels until the locking tab clicks into place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the cable run away from strong sources of electrical noise where possible. Use the 1 m length for short patch connections between nearby ports or devices; if routing through cable management hardware, secure the cable with appropriate clips or Velcro ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For sustained Gigabit or higher network performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short patch runs and within structured cabling segments where shielding can reduce interference. Regularly inspect connector contacts for dirt or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show wear that could affect signal integrity.
