Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75720-AG 10 m Cat6a S/FTP vihreä

The ShiverPeaks BS75720-AG is a 10 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, the cable supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet over structured cabling and offers reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference thanks to its foil and braided shielding. The green jacket provides an easy visual identification option for organized installations in home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines individual foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield to improve signal integrity in environments with multiple cable runs and electronic devices. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact quality and reduce installation time compared with field-terminated assemblies. The Cat6a specification allows for higher bandwidth and longer reliable runs for 10GBASE-T applications within the cable’s supported distance.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in networks requiring Cat6a performance
• Patch panels, switches and wall outlets in structured cabling systems
• Home offices and small business network connections
• Environments where visual cable identification and color coding are used

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a, suitable for 10GBASE-T
• Length: 10 meters
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends, factory-terminated
• Conductor: twisted pairs (shielded), solid or stranded construction as typical for patch cables
• Outer jacket color: green for easy identification

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device such as a switch, router or network interface, and the other plug to the corresponding port on your computer, patch panel or wall jack. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the plug latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance. When installing in racks or cable trays, use appropriate cable management to prevent excessive strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent 10G performance, keep runs within the recommended distance for Cat6a and avoid untwisting pairs at termination points. Combine the green cable with a color-coded wiring scheme to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting in multi-cable installations.
