Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch-kaapeli 08-35030

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable 08-35030 is a network patch cord engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections in LANs, server rooms and structured cabling installations. The cable follows Category 7 performance characteristics using unshielded/overall unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) construction and standardized RJ45 connectors to link switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets. It is intended for reliable data transmission where Cat 7 characteristics such as increased frequency support and reduced crosstalk are required compared to lower-category patch cords.

Advantages

The cable provides higher frequency capability and improved pair-to-pair performance compared with lower category cables while maintaining compatibility with RJ45 ports. Its U/UTP construction simplifies installation in environments where shielding is not needed, and the standardized RJ45 connectors enable plug-and-play connectivity with common networking equipment. The cord is suitable for horizontal and patching use in professional network infrastructures and data centers.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in Ethernet networks
• Patching between rack-mounted equipment in server rooms and data centers
• Horizontal LAN runs and office wall outlet connections
• High-speed applications that benefit from Cat 7 performance characteristics

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 performance class
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair, overall unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Typical use: Patch cable for Ethernet and structured cabling
• Cable color: grey (visual identification for installations)
• Length: 2 m (suitable for short patching and rack connections)

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port on switches, routers, patch panels or wall outlets until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are inserted firmly and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, route the cable through cable management channels or horizontal organizers to maintain neat runs and reduce mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 7 U/UTP patch cable in short runs up to the recommended channel length for structured cabling and avoid bundling it tightly with power lines or heavily cabled conduits. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors are compromised.
