Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 10m

The ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 10m networking cable is a 10-meter S/FTP shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. The cable uses Cat6a specification to support higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared to lower-category cables. Black outer jacket and standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide broad compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving connection stability in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The Cat6a construction allows for reliable performance at higher data rates and over the full 10-meter length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The flexible jacket facilitates routing and installation in tight spaces while maintaining mechanical durability.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between computers and network switches or routers
• Connecting networked devices in home entertainment setups and media centers
• Office workstations, VoIP phones and network printers
• Short-range server or patch panel connections within racks and cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Length: 10 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors
• Typical use: Ethernet up to 10 Gbps at appropriate distances

How to use

Verify both network endpoints are powered down or in a safe state if required by your equipment. Insert an RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of each device until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as heavy machinery or unshielded power cables. If connecting to patch panels or switches in racks, allow enough slack for panel movement and maintenance access. After connection, check link status indicators on devices and perform a network test if necessary to confirm speed and stability.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its 10 m length without excessive bending or stretching, maintain separation from high-voltage power lines, and avoid sharp kinks. When installing in environments with high EMI, pair S/FTP cable runs with properly grounded network equipment and connectors. Replace the cable if physical damage or degraded link quality is observed.
