Verkkokaapeli Telegärtner L00003A0267 vihreä 5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Telegärtner L00003A0267 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable in green provides a shielded fixed-link solution for high-speed Ethernet connections. Built to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding, this cable supports up to 10 Gbps data rates over short to medium distances and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward plug-and-play installation. The green jacket helps with colour-coding in structured cabling systems or identifying specific network segments in mixed environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk due to its individually shielded pairs plus an overall foil shield, ensuring stable throughput in environments with multiple signal sources. The 5-metre length covers many common connection needs without excess slack, and the standardized RJ-45 terminations deliver broad compatibility with network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The coloured sheath assists with visual organisation and quick identification in patching fields.

Suitable for

• Connecting workstations, switches or routers within offices and data closets
• Patch cabling in server rooms and network racks
• Home networks requiring high-bandwidth connections for streaming and gaming
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where extra shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: Green
• Supported link speed: up to 10 Gbps (typical for Cat6a over appropriate distances)
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of excessive heat. For best performance, keep the cable run within recommended distances for Cat6a links and avoid tightly bundling unshielded cables together with power lines. When used in patching panels, verify that the panel and adjacent cables allow continuation of the shielding to maintain overall EMI protection.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in conjunction with shielded network equipment and properly grounded cabling infrastructure to preserve the shielding effectiveness. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and ensure that cable bend radius and routing guidelines are observed to maintain reliable 10 Gbps performance in your network setup.
