Verkkokaapeli Value S/FTP patch-kaapeli Cat.6a RJ45 5,0 m harmaa

VALUE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a, grey, 5.0 m. Shielded patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for networking connections between devices. The cable uses shielded twisted pair (PiMF) construction with foil-wrapped pairs and full braided shielding, 100 Ω impedance and 1:1 contact assignment according to EIA/TIA 568. Molded kink protection and a flexible jacket make the cable durable and suitable for narrow bends. Supports data rates up to 10 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 500 MHz.

Advantages

The S/FTP design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed applications. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility with standard network equipment. The moulded kink protection increases connector durability while the flexible cable construction allows routing in confined spaces. Impedance of 100 Ohm and compliance with EIA/TIA 568 provide standardized wiring and predictable performance.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbit/s
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices
• Home and office networks requiring shielded Cat.6a cabling
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6a S/FTP
• Length: 5.0 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45, contact wiring 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Impedance: 100 Ω
• Bandwidth: 500 MHz
• Max. data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Construction: 8 conductors, pairs foil-shielded (PiMF), braided overall shield
• Colour: grey

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network ports of your devices (switch, router, PC, patch panel) until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors and ports are free of dust and that the cable is not twisted tightly or kinked near the connector. Route the cable keeping bends above the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and avoid running it parallel to strong power sources to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For a structured shielded Cat.6a installation use compatible components such as VALUE Cat.6a S/FTP solid cable, shielded keystones and keystone patch panels to preserve shielding continuity; avoid unshielded connectors which can reduce overall performance.
