Verkkoliitäntärasia ShiverPeaks 75001 Cat 6 LSA-liitäntä strukturoituun kaapelointiin

Network Extension Box ShiverPeaks 75001 Cat 6 LSA connection for structured cabling is a compact, wall- or surface-mountable enclosure designed to provide reliable termination points for Cat 6 twisted-pair cables. The unit accommodates LSA/IDC terminations and organizes patch or extension runs in offices, data closets, or residential installations where consistent Cat 6 performance is required.

Advantages

The box offers a neat and accessible location for terminating and extending Cat 6 cabling, reducing cable clutter and supporting consistent signal integrity through IDC (LSA) terminations. Its surface-mount form factor simplifies installation in retrofit or new-build environments, while the enclosure protects terminations from dust and incidental contact. The design allows orderly routing of multiple pairs, improving manageability for technicians and reducing the risk of accidental disconnections.

Suitable for

• Office patching and horizontal cable extensions
• Data closet or telecommunications room intermediate terminations
• Residential network upgrades and structured cabling endpoints
• Retrofit installations where surface-mount enclosures are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 compliant junction/enclosure for twisted-pair cabling
• Connection type: LSA / IDC termination points for reliable pair terminations
• Mounting: Wall-mountable / surface-mount enclosure suitable for indoor use
• Cable accommodation: Multiple Cat 6 twisted-pair cable terminations and organized patch routing
• Protection: Enclosed termination area to reduce dust and accidental contact

How to use

Install the enclosure on a suitable flat surface using appropriate screws or anchors for the substrate. Strip cable jackets to expose the twisted pairs, maintain pair untwist to the minimum recommended length, and terminate each conductor into the LSA/IDC contacts according to the chosen wiring scheme. Close the cover after verifying terminations and perform continuity and performance testing with a suitable Cat 6 cable tester to confirm correct pair wiring and signal integrity.

Recommendations

Keep untwist length as short as practical near terminations, follow standard Cat 6 wiring color codes, and use a calibrated cable tester to validate connections after installation. Avoid placing the box near strong electromagnetic interference sources and ensure adequate access for future maintenance and re-terminations.
