The ShiverPeaks BS75001-2 network junction box is a single-unit enclosure designed for Cat7 structured cabling and compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet. It provides a protected mounting point for cable terminations, patching and connection hardware in both professional and home network installations. The enclosure helps to organize cable runs, protect junctions from physical damage and reduce electromagnetic interference that can affect high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

This junction box offers a compact and robust housing for Cat7 terminations, maintaining cable integrity and shielding where required. Its form factor simplifies installation in wall cavities or equipment cabinets and reduces clutter around connection points. By consolidating terminations in a single protected box, the product supports easier maintenance and troubleshooting without exposing cables to accidental strain or contact.

Suitable for

• Installation of Cat7 network endpoints in residential or commercial buildings
• Organizing and protecting Ethernet terminations for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks
• Patch and splice points in structured cabling systems
• Network outlet consolidation in equipment rooms, closets or wall-mounted locations

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Cat7 structured cabling and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet
• Packaging: single-unit enclosure for one junction point
• Function: provides protected mounting and organization for terminations and patch connections
• Physical protection: enclosed housing to shield terminations from mechanical damage and dust
• Installation locations: suitable for wall cavities, mounting panels or small equipment racks

How to use

Mount the junction box at the chosen location, route Cat7 cable into the enclosure and perform terminations or install compatible keystone modules or punch-down blocks as required by the cabling scheme. Secure cable entry to avoid strain on the connections and verify continuity and signal integrity after installation using appropriate network testing tools. Close the enclosure to maintain protection of the terminated connections.

Recommendations

When installing Cat7 in the ShiverPeaks BS75001-2, maintain correct cable bending radius and preserve shielding continuity where applicable. Use compatible keystone jacks or termination hardware rated for Cat7 to ensure support for gigabit Ethernet speeds, and perform post-installation testing to confirm signal performance.
