Verkkopatchkaapeli DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP ohut, 1,5 m, vihreä, 10 kpl:n pakkaus

DIGITUS CAT 6 U-UTP Slim patch cable, 1.5 m, green, pack of 10 provides CAT 6 performance in a slim, flexible design for structured cabling. These unshielded twisted pair (U-UTP) Ethernet patch leads support Gigabit Ethernet and operate up to 250 MHz. The reduced outer diameter and molded strain relief make them suitable for high-density patch panels and confined cable routing while maintaining reliable signal transmission and PoE/PoE+ compatibility thanks to pure copper stranded conductors.

Advantages

The slim cable construction with a total diameter of approximately 2.7 mm and a flexible jacket enables space-saving installation in cable ducts, patch panels and behind equipment. Stranded AWG 32/7 bare copper conductors combined with HD-PE insulation ensure a balance of flexibility and electrical performance. Molded anti-kink sleeves and locking lever protection reduce the risk of connector damage and improve longevity. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 CAT 6 standards ensures predictable behaviour in typical network deployments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network devices in office and home networks
• High-density patch panels and cable management systems
• Data centres and telecommunications closets with limited space
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices such as IP phones and access points

How to use

Route the slim patch cable between network equipment while avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling forces. Align the RJ45 plug with the device port and insert until the locking tab engages; the molded strain relief reduces stress at the connector. For patch panel use, guide the cables through cable management channels and maintain the recommended bending radius to preserve transmission characteristics. Use separate runs for power-heavy cables when possible to minimise electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for patching and avoid tight bends near connectors. When installing in high-density racks, use horizontal and vertical cable organisers to maintain the 15× bending radius and reduce strain on the RJ45 plugs. The LSZH jacket is suitable for indoor installations and areas where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.
