Verkkopistorasia ShiverPeaks BS74280-G — 2× RJ-45, Cat6a, vihreä

ShiverPeaks BS74280-G is a single-piece network wall socket featuring two RJ-45 ports designed for Category 6a cabling. The unit is finished in green and intended for structured LAN installations in offices, server rooms and residential networks where high-speed Ethernet connections are required. It supports Cat6a cabling standards to deliver bandwidth and performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs and provides two independent ports for connecting computers, switches or other network devices.

Advantages

The double RJ-45 configuration allows two separate connections in one wall outlet, reducing the need for additional faceplates. Compatibility with Cat6a cabling ensures improved signal integrity and higher bandwidth compared to lower category sockets. The single-piece construction simplifies installation and alignment in standard wall boxes, while the green finish provides clear visual identification for dedicated networks or zones. The outlet is suitable for structured cabling systems and supports reliable Ethernet connectivity when paired with appropriate Cat6a cables and patch cords.

Suitable for

• Office workstations requiring two network connections
• Server rooms and network closets for uplinks and device ports
• Residential networks with multiple wired devices
• Structured cabling projects following Cat6a specifications

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45 ports
• Cabling category: Category 6a compatible
• Form factor: Single-piece wall outlet (double port)
• Color: Green finish for visual identification
• Designed use: Ethernet LAN installations, horizontal cabling

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks double RJ-45 outlet into a standard electrical or data wall box following local cabling and mounting standards. Terminate Cat6a cables to the outlet's IDC or punch-down terminals according to the colour-code and wiring scheme used (T568A or T568B). After secure termination, attach the outlet to the wall box and mount the faceplate. Connect devices using Cat6a patch cords to achieve the specified performance. Ensure all connections are tested with appropriate network testers to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

Use certified Cat6a cables and connectors for end-to-end Cat6a performance. Follow structured cabling best practices: maintain proper bend radius, minimize untwisted pair length at terminations, and use consistent wiring standard (T568A or T568B) throughout the installation. Test each link after installation to confirm bandwidth and signal integrity.
