Verkkosovitin Dexlan 310729 USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 Gigabit Ethernet

The Dexlan 310729 USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 Gigabit Ethernet adapter provides a reliable wired network connection for laptops and devices equipped with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports. It supports standard 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds and is intended to add or replace built-in LAN interfaces where a stable, high-speed wired link is required. The compact form factor and single-cable connectivity make it suitable for use in workstations, meeting rooms and mobile environments where wireless signals are limited or unavailable.

Advantages

This adapter offers gigabit throughput over a USB Type-C / Thunderbolt 3 interface with minimal configuration. It enables low-latency and consistent network performance compared with typical wireless connections and supports plug-and-play operation on compatible systems. The device is compact and lightweight, simplifying transport and installation while reducing cable clutter by using the host port for both power and data when supported.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the adapter to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on the host device and plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ‑45 port. Most modern operating systems will detect the adapter automatically and configure network settings via DHCP. If necessary, install the vendor or system-supplied driver for full compatibility. Verify link and activity LEDs (if present) to confirm physical connection and network activity, then adjust network settings in the operating system to set static IP addresses or advanced parameters as required.

Recommendations

Use a quality shielded Ethernet cable for optimal signal integrity and place the adapter where the cable is not subject to sharp bends or frequent mechanical stress. Keep host system firmware and network drivers up to date to ensure compatibility, and disconnect the adapter before unplugging the host if the operating system advises it.
