Vesiblokki Alphacool 14465 läpinäkyvä LDPE 250 ml

The Alphacool 14465 Transparent LDPE 250 ml water block is a compact cooling accessory made from low-density polyethylene with a transparent finish and a 250 ml capacity. It is intended for integration into computer liquid-cooling loops to support efficient heat transfer and provide visible coolant flow. The simple, transparent construction allows for visual inspection of fluid condition and flow, while the LDPE material offers chemical resistance and flexibility suitable for various coolant types.

Advantages

The transparent LDPE body provides clear visibility of coolant level and color without the need for additional inspection tools. Low-density polyethylene reduces the risk of corrosion and reacts minimally with common cooling fluids, contributing to longer maintenance intervals. The 250 ml capacity gives a moderate reservoir volume that helps stabilize coolant circulation and allows for easier filling and bleeding of the loop.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid-cooling loops requiring a small transparent reservoir or water block
• Systems where visual monitoring of coolant level and color is needed
• Cooling setups using common water-based or glycol-based coolants compatible with LDPE

Key specifications

• Material: low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
• Finish: transparent
• Capacity: 250 ml
• Primary purpose: liquid-cooling component for heat transfer and reservoir functionality
• Compatibility: suitable for standard PC water-cooling fluids compatible with polyethylene

How to use

Install the water block inline within the cooling loop according to your system layout, ensuring secure connections to tubing or fittings rated for the chosen coolant. Fill the unit with appropriate coolant until the visible level reaches the desired mark, then run the pump at low speed to purge air and observe the transparent body for steady flow and absence of air bubbles. Tighten all connections and recheck after an initial operating period to confirm leak-free operation.

Recommendations

Use only coolants that are documented as compatible with polyethylene; avoid aggressive solvents and strong acids. Periodically inspect the transparent body for discoloration, particulate buildup, or clouding and perform maintenance flushing when signs of contamination appear. During installation, route tubing to minimize stress on fittings and ensure the unit is accessible for future filling and inspection.
