VGA-HDMI-adapteri ShiverPeaks 10-01005 3,5 mm:n audioliitännällä

The ShiverPeaks VGA to HDMI adapter 10-01005 converts analog VGA video signals to digital HDMI output and includes a 3.5mm audio jack for separate stereo audio input. It is designed to connect older PCs, laptops or other devices with a VGA output to modern HDMI-equipped monitors, TVs or projectors. The adapter supports up to 1080p resolution and provides a single-cable HDMI output for displays that require a digital signal while allowing audio to be supplied via the 3.5mm jack.

Advantages

This adapter allows simple compatibility between legacy VGA sources and HDMI displays without requiring the source device to have native HDMI output. It supports full HD video up to 1080p and keeps audio separate via the integrated 3.5mm jack, which is useful when the VGA source does not transmit sound. The compact, plug-and-play form factor requires no additional software and fits into setups where space and cable routing are limited.

Suitable for

• Connecting older desktop PCs or laptops with VGA output to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Classroom and office presentations where VGA-based equipment must display on HDMI projectors or screens
• Home media playback from legacy video sources to modern HDTVs
• Temporary AV setups and equipment testing where quick VGA-to-HDMI conversion is needed

Key specifications

• Video conversion: analog VGA input to digital HDMI output
• Audio input: 3.5mm stereo jack for separate audio feed
• Maximum supported resolution: 1920 × 1080 (1080p)
• Connector types: VGA (male) input and HDMI-A (female) output
• Power: bus-powered from source or external power may be required depending on source capabilities (refer to device notes)
• Compatibility: works with VGA-equipped computers, laptops and devices that provide a standard VGA signal

How to use

Connect the VGA plug of the adapter to the VGA output on the source device and insert an HDMI cable into the adapter's HDMI socket to the display. Plug a separate 3.5mm audio cable from the source's headphone or line-out jack into the adapter's audio input if you need sound on the HDMI display. Power the source device and select the HDMI input on the display. Adjust the source resolution to a compatible setting (up to 1920 × 1080) if necessary for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

Use a short, high-quality HDMI cable for best signal integrity and set the source output to a 16:9 native resolution where possible. If no audio is heard, verify the 3.5mm audio connection and the source's audio output settings. For stable operation, avoid excessive cable bending at connector ends and ensure the source provides sufficient power for the adapter; if required, consult the device manual for external power options.
