Videokaapeli-sovitin shiverpeaks BS77485-RE

The ShiverPeaks BS77485-RE is a 5 m video cable adapter designed to connect devices with HDMI Type A (Standard) and DVI-D interfaces. It enables transmission of video signals between computers, monitors and projectors where one device uses HDMI and the other uses DVI-D. The cable is finished in black and provides a single-cable solution for common multimedia setups that require a stable physical connection over a medium length.

Advantages

This HDMI to DVI-D adapter cable supports a direct wired connection between HDMI Type A and DVI-D equipped devices, reducing the need for external converters. The 5 m length offers flexibility in positioning devices without immediate proximity requirements. The cable’s construction is intended to maintain signal integrity for standard digital video transmission while keeping installation straightforward and plug-and-play for most systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with HDMI output to a monitor with DVI-D input
• Linking a media player or streaming device to a DVI-D projector or display
• Temporary or semi-permanent AV setups in classrooms, meeting rooms or home offices

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector 2: DVI-D
• Product colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of your source device and plug the DVI-D end into the display’s DVI-D input. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to prevent hot-plug issues, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the display. If the display does not automatically detect the source, use the graphics settings on the source device to select the output resolution and refresh rate compatible with the DVI-D display.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use within the 5 m distance to avoid potential signal degradation; if a longer run is required consider an active signal booster or alternative cabling solutions. Verify that audio is handled separately, as DVI-D carries video only and does not transmit audio. Keep the cable routed to avoid sharp bends and avoid tightly coiling excess length to maintain signal quality.
