Videoneuvottelukamera AVerMedia CAM550 1920x1080 30fps 12x zoom

The AVerMedia CAM550 is a 4K dual-lens PTZ conferencing camera designed for mid-to-large meeting rooms. It combines a 12x optical PTZ camera with an AI-powered panoramic lens to capture both detailed close-ups and a full-room view. The system supports Smart Gallery for individual participant framing, AI gesture recognition for contactless control, and network streaming via AVer Virtual Stream with PoE+ support on Windows.

Advantages

The dual-lens design provides wide-angle coverage and high-resolution close framing, while dynamic framing automatically detects newcomers and re-frames the shot. Smart Gallery crops faces or half bodies using AI face and body detection for consistent participant presentation. Gesture recognition enables touch-free camera control, and AVer Virtual Stream plus PoE+ reduces cabling by allowing video over a single Ethernet connection.

Suitable for

• Mid-to-large conference rooms and huddle spaces
• Corporate video meetings and hybrid team collaboration
• Lecture halls or training rooms requiring automatic participant tracking

How to use

Install the CAM550 in a central position in the meeting room and connect it to the network via Ethernet to use AVer Virtual Stream; enable PoE+ if supported by your Windows system and network switch. Run PTZApp 2 on a connected computer to access Smart Gallery, Preset Link integration with compatible Shure® or Sennheiser® microphones, and to configure dynamic framing and gesture control. Use the PTZ controls for manual framing or allow the AI lens to detect newcomers and trigger automatic re-framing.

Recommendations

For best results, place the camera at room center height with a clear view of participants, ensure PTZApp 2 is running to access AI features, and use PoE+ on Windows for simplified cabling. Verify compatibility of third-party audio devices when using Preset Link for voice tracking.
