Recommendations

For best results when capturing gameplay, use HDMI for 4K passthrough and record at 1080p to reduce processing requirements. Enable H.265 encoding to save storage space while maintaining image quality. When converting analog sources, test short clips first to confirm input levels and composite connections. Schedule recordings in advance for reliable TV or event capture.
