Viinikannu Alessi Mami XL 0,75 L lasi läpinäkyvä

The Mami Glasses collection, designed by Stefano Giovannoni in 2003, is expanded with an extra-large decanter. Inspired by the large proportions of wine-tasting glasses, the Alessi Mami XL 0.75 L wine decanter is made of transparent glass and measures 210 mm x 210 mm x 220 mm, offering increased surface area for wine aeration while reflecting the smooth, rounded forms of the Mami series.

Advantages

The Alessi Mami XL decanter combines a 0.75 L capacity with an open, voluminous shape to promote aeration and release of aromas. Its transparent glass construction makes visual assessment of the wine easy, and the rounded design follows the original Mami aesthetic for a cohesive tableware look.

Suitable for

• Decanting a standard 0.75 L bottle of red or white wine
• Improving wine aeration before serving
• Use in domestic dining and small dinner parties
• Presenting wine with a designer table setting

How to use

Pour wine slowly from the bottle into the decanter, allowing the liquid to spread across the wide surface to maximize contact with air. Let the wine rest in the decanter for the time appropriate to the wine type before serving. After use, rinse with warm water and allow to dry; handle the glassware carefully to avoid chips or breaks.

Recommendations

For younger red wines, decant for 30–60 minutes to enhance aromas; older vintage wines generally require shorter exposure—decant briefly and taste periodically. Avoid using abrasive cleaners to preserve the glass clarity.
