Viivakoodilukija Newland BS80 Piranha -sarja 1D Bluetooth USB-C

The Newland BS80 Piranha-Series 1D Bluetooth USB-C is a handheld barcode scanner engineered for reliable, high-speed reading of linear barcodes. It combines Bluetooth wireless connectivity with a USB‑C interface to provide flexible pairing with POS terminals, tablets, and PCs. The compact, ergonomic housing supports prolonged use in retail, warehousing and logistics environments while enabling fast data capture and straightforward integration into existing inventory and checkout workflows.

Advantages

The scanner offers dual connectivity options—Bluetooth for untethered operation and USB‑C for direct wired connections—allowing quick switching between mobile and stationary use. Its engine is optimized for 1D barcode decoding, delivering accurate reads on standard retail labels and damaged or low‑contrast linear codes. The lightweight, ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue during extended scanning sessions, and simple pairing procedures ensure fast deployment with a variety of host devices.

Suitable for

• Point of sale systems in retail stores
• Inventory management and stock counting in warehouses
• Shipping, receiving and logistics scanning tasks
• Mobile data capture with tablets and handheld terminals

Key specifications

• Barcode type: 1D (linear) barcode decoding
• Connectivity: Bluetooth wireless and USB‑C wired interface
• Operation: Handheld, trigger-based scanning
• Compatibility: Works with common POS systems, tablets and PCs supporting HID/serial over Bluetooth
• Ergonomics: Compact, lightweight housing for prolonged use
• Environmental suitability: Designed for retail and light industrial environments

How to use

Connect the scanner to a host device via Bluetooth pairing or plug the USB‑C cable for a wired connection. Position the scanner so the aiming pattern covers the barcode and press the trigger to initiate the decode. After a successful read, the barcode data is transmitted to the connected device as keyboard input or through the configured serial profile. Follow your host system's settings to confirm correct data format and field termination.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the scanner’s window clean and avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight during scanning. Use Bluetooth when mobility is required and USB‑C for stationary work to ensure uninterrupted power and stable data transfer. Verify host compatibility with HID/serial Bluetooth modes before deployment to ensure seamless integration.
