• Temporary or permanent installations in offices, server rooms, and home workstations

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC C13 to IEC C14
• Cable length: 1.8 metres
• Standards compliance: BS60009
• Application: mains power lead for IT and electronic equipment

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting the cable. Insert the IEC C13 end into the device requiring power and the IEC C14 end into the power source such as a PDU, UPS or compatible outlet. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; secure with cable ties or channels as needed to prevent strain on connectors. After connections are secure, restore power and verify the connected equipment operates correctly.

Recommendations

Periodically inspect the cable for visible damage and ensure connectors remain free from debris. Avoid placing heavy objects on the cable and do not run it through areas with excessive heat or moisture. For critical systems, consider using a suitable surge protection or UPS device in combination with this cable.
