The kit is intended for straightforward installation and provides a practical solution for extending AV sources in residential and commercial environments.

Advantages

The extender supports transmission distances up to 60 m over a single CAT6 cable while maintaining digital AV quality, reducing the need for long, bulky HDMI leads. It offers plug-and-play operation for quick setup and compatibility with standard HDMI sources and displays. The compact transmitter and receiver units simplify installation in constrained spaces and minimize visible cabling for a cleaner AV layout.

• Home theatre and living room AV setups
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces
• Digital signage and retail display systems
• Classrooms and educational presentation environments

Key specifications

• Transmission medium: single CAT6 cable
• Maximum extension distance: up to 60 meters
• Signal type: HDMI audio and video
• Compatibility: standard HDMI sources and displays
• Installation: plug-and-play, transmitter and receiver pair

How to use

Connect the transmitter unit to the HDMI source device and the receiver unit to the remote display using short HDMI cables. Link the transmitter and receiver with a single CAT6 cable routed between locations. Power the units as required and verify that the display detects the HDMI input. No additional configuration is normally required; the devices automatically transmit the HDMI signal across the CAT6 link.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use a quality shielded or unshielded CAT6 cable of appropriate length without excessive bends. Keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and ensure secure HDMI and power connections. For distances near the maximum 60 m, test the setup with the intended display and source to confirm resolution and audio compatibility.
