Visualisointipalvelin Hager TJAS471 easy KNX IoT — Hager TJAS471

The Hager TJAS471 easy KNX IoT visualization server is a dedicated device that connects KNX building automation systems to IP networks and IoT services. It centralizes access to KNX device states, scenes and alarms and exposes them via web interfaces and compatible smartphone or tablet apps. The unit is intended for integration in residential and light commercial projects where networked visualization, monitoring and controlled remote access to KNX devices are required.

Advantages

The visualization server provides a single point of access to KNX installation data and translates KNX group objects for consumption by web clients and cloud services. It supports remote monitoring and control while maintaining a clear separation between the KNX bus and IP network functions. The device is compact, mounts in distribution enclosures, and is designed for continuous operation with stable network connectivity and standard KNX interfacing.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the visualization server in the electrical distribution enclosure and connect it to the KNX bus and the local Ethernet network according to installation rules and safety requirements. Configure the device using the manufacturer's user interface or web configuration pages to map KNX group objects to visualization elements, set user accounts and establish remote access parameters. Integrate with compatible apps or cloud services following the provided configuration steps to enable monitoring, scene activation and event notifications from the KNX installation.

Recommendations

Ensure the KNX installation and IP network follow best practices for grounding, surge protection and secure network segmentation. Keep the device firmware updated via the official Hager update process and restrict remote access with strong authentication and encrypted connections. For complex projects, perform commissioning with KNX-certified tools and consult Hager documentation for interoperability details.
