WEDO 271 48599 are oval wrap-around over-glasses designed for adult unisex use. These sunglasses fit comfortably over prescription eyewear and combine polarizing lenses with full rim black frames to reduce glare and improve visual comfort during driving, sports and outdoor activities. The lenses provide high protection against direct sunlight, filter category 3 tinting and UV 400 protection for full UVA and UVB blocking. Each pair is supplied with a glasses case and instruction manual and is packaged in a single display pack; units are supplied in a display box of 12.

Advantages

The polarizing lenses significantly reduce reflections from horizontal surfaces such as wet roads and water, improving contrast and making colours appear fuller. The wrap-around oval shape offers extended side coverage compared with flat designs, while the over-glasses style allows easy use with most prescription spectacles. Constructed with a full rim black frame and temple, these sunglasses meet the referenced safety standard and deliver consistent sun protection for general outdoor use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Driving in bright or wet conditions where glare reduction is needed
• Wearing over prescription glasses for everyday outdoor use
• Outdoor sports and leisure activities requiring wide coverage and reduced reflections
• Walking, commuting, and general sun protection in strong daylight

When it may not be suitable

These over-glasses are designed to fit over many prescription spectacles but may not be suitable for very large or unusually shaped frames; compatibility should be checked before purchase. They are filter category 3 with strong tinting, which makes them unsuitable for low-light or night-time use.
