USB-C-liitin Goobay 45401 musta

The Goobay 45401 USB-C gender changer connects two USB-C cables to extend reach or adapt cable orientation without changing devices. Designed in black, this inline adapter preserves the original USB-C connector form factor and provides a compact solution for short extensions or reversing cable gender where needed. It is intended for use with USB-C cables and ports that follow the USB-C physical standard and supports typical USB-C functions determined by the connected cables and devices.

Advantages

The compact black housing offers a discreet inline connection that minimizes added bulk between cables. By keeping the USB-C form factor on both ends, the adapter maintains reversible plug orientation and easy insertion. Its simple, passive design requires no power or drivers, and it can be used immediately when two USB-C cables need to be joined. The adapter enables preservation of cable routing and reduces wear on device ports by moving frequent plugging activity to the adapter.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of USB-C charging or data cables for short additional length
• Adapting two USB-C cables with matching connectors when a longer continuous cable is needed
• Temporary cable joins in home, office, or workshop environments
• Situations where a passive inline gender changer is preferred over replacing a full cable

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB-C (female)
• Connector B: USB-C (female)
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Inline gender changer/adapter
• Design: Passive (no electronic conversion)

How to use

Insert the male USB-C plug of the first cable into one side of the adapter and the male USB-C plug of the second cable into the opposite side. Ensure both cable plugs are fully seated in the adapter before applying power or transferring data. Because the adapter is passive, the actual performance (data rates, charging current, alternate modes) depends on the capabilities of the connected cables and devices. Avoid forcing connectors and align plugs before insertion to protect connector pins and housings.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short-term or light-duty joins; for high-power fast charging or high-bandwidth video applications, ensure the connected cables and devices are rated for the intended use. Do not use the adapter to convert signal types (for example, USB to HDMI); it only provides a physical connection between two USB-C cables.
