Wera 967/9 TX XL Torx L-avainsarja, 9-osainen

High-quality L-shaped TX (TORX®) key set for recessed TORX® screws, featuring a holding function that secures the screw on the tool by wedging forces between the drive tip and the screw profile. The set includes extra-long arms and partially ballpoint long arms, allowing reliable engagement in difficult installation situations. Each L-key has a thermoplastic sleeve made of easy-to-grip circular material for comfortable handling even at low temperatures. Tools are finished with a BlackLaser surface treatment for enhanced surface protection and corrosion resistance, and sizes are laser-engraved for durable, wear-resistant marking. The set is supplied in a practical clip fastener made of wear-resistant material for secure storage and simple removal.

Advantages

The holding function keeps screws on the key for easier single-handed work. Extra-long arms provide extended reach and improved leverage while ball-end long arms permit angled access up to the permissable angle for TORX® engagements. Thermoplastic sleeves improve grip and finger comfort in cold conditions. BlackLaser treatment increases corrosion resistance and service life, and laser-engraved size markings remain legible over time. The clip fastener organizes the nine L-keys and allows secure, quick access.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of recessed TORX® fasteners in machinery and equipment
• Work in confined or recessed spaces requiring extended reach
• Maintenance and repair tasks where reliable screw retention on the tool is useful
• Professional workshops and demanding DIY projects

How to use

Select the appropriate TORX® size from the set and insert the short or long arm into the recessed screw head. For confined or angled access, use the ball-end on the long arm and engage the screw at the permitted angle. Apply steady torque while keeping the key aligned with the screw profile to avoid cam-out. Use the thermoplastic sleeve for improved grip and comfort during repeated operations. Store the keys in the provided clip fastener when not in use.

Recommendations

Use the holding function to place and start screws single-handedly; avoid excessive force beyond the rated torque for TORX® fasteners and keep tools clean and dry to maintain the BlackLaser surface protection.
