Why choose it

The aluminum alloy shell dissipates heat efficiently while protecting your drive from bumps and scratches. The Realtek RTL9210B controller ensures stable performance and broad compatibility, including UASP acceleration for faster transfers and TRIM pass-through to maintain SSD health. Tool-free installation means you can swap drives in seconds, and dual cables let you connect to both modern USB-C and legacy USB-A ports.

Ideal use cases

• Upgrading an old laptop by turning its 2.5-inch SSD into a fast external drive
• Creating a portable backup solution for photographers and videographers
• Expanding storage for gaming consoles or smart TVs that support USB drives
• Cloning or migrating data between computers
• Running a portable operating system or recovery environment

Good to know

The enclosure is bus-powered, so no external power adapter is needed—just plug it into a USB port. It supports drives up to 6TB, though actual capacity depends on the drive you install. The LED indicator shows power and activity status at a glance. Note that the enclosure does not include a drive; it is a housing for your own 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD.
