Wirewin SLIM S6 015 SW - Cat.6 SLIM -patchkaapeli, STP(PIMF), 0,15 m, musta (PKW-STP-SLIM-KAT6 0.15 SW)

In high-density server rooms and network cabinets, every millimeter counts. This 0.15 m Cat.6 slim patch cable from SLIM WIREWIN is built for exactly those spaces—connecting patch panels to switches, or servers to adjacent ports, with a reduced diameter that improves airflow and simplifies cable management. The black LSZH jacket blends into professional racks while meeting strict fire safety standards.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6, backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5
• Shielding: STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) with PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) for superior EMI/RFI protection
• Length: 0.15 m (15 cm) – ideal for short, tidy links in racks and cabinets
• Conductor: Stranded copper, AWG 28/7, ensuring flexibility and reliable signal integrity
• Connectors: Gold-plated RJ45 (8P8C), 50 µm plating for corrosion resistance and low contact resistance
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), black, with molded snagless boots
• Performance: Supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) with 250 MHz bandwidth
• Wiring: TIA/EIA 568B, straight-through pinout
• Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C

Why choose it

The slim 4.8 mm outer diameter is a game-changer for dense installations. It reduces cable bulk, allowing better airflow around active equipment and easier tracing of individual links. The STP/PIMF shielding provides robust protection against alien crosstalk, making it suitable for environments with high electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts ensure long-term performance, while the snagless boot prevents damage to the locking tab during frequent moves and changes.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting patch panels to switches in data centers and server rooms
• Short links between servers and adjacent network ports
• High-density network cabinets where space and airflow are critical
• Professional AV installations requiring reliable shielded connections
• Home networks with 10G-capable devices in close proximity

Good to know

This cable is fully backward compatible with existing Cat.5e and Cat.5 infrastructure, so you can upgrade gradually without replacing everything at once. The LSZH jacket emits low smoke and no halogen gases in case of fire, making it compliant with modern building safety regulations. Each cable is individually tested to meet Cat.6 performance standards.
