Verkkokaapeli ohut patch-kaapeli ohut Light STP 0,5 m Cat6 U/FTP

The SLIM Patchcords SLIM Light STP 0.5m Cat6 U/FTP is a slim networking cable designed for high-speed connections where space-saving cabling is required. With a 0.5 m length and Cat6 performance it supports Gigabit Ethernet up to 1000 Mbit/s. The unshielded (U/FTP) round variant has a compact 2.8 mm diameter comparable to slim fibre patchcords, while the fully shielded F/FTP version measures just under 4 mm in diameter. RJ-45 connectors with gold plating provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance, and the grey slim design helps maintain tidy cable runs.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with a reduced diameter for easier cable management in dense or visible installations. The unshielded slim round version offers minimal thickness while retaining Gigabit capability; the shielded F/FTP variant provides full electromagnetic shielding for improved noise immunity and PoE compatibility. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts improve conductivity and long‑term reliability.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet network connections
• Short interconnections in racks, patch panels and behind equipment
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices (when using shielded variant as required)
• Environments requiring compact, discreet cabling

Key specifications

• Type: Cat6 patchcord (U/FTP unshielded round variant; F/FTP shielded variant)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Diameter: ~2.8 mm (unshielded), < 4 mm (shielded)
• Performance: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 with gold plating
• Colour: grey
• Brand / MPN / EAN: slim wirewin / PKW-LIGHT-STP-K6 0.5 / 9120064016128

How to use

Connect the RJ‑45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port on network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Ensure the cable length and shielding type match the installation requirements — choose the shielded F/FTP version where electromagnetic interference is a concern or where shielded infrastructure is used. Route the slim cable along cable management channels or behind equipment to keep runs neat and avoid tight bends that could stress the connector ends.

Recommendations

For best signal performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy compression of the slim cable; when using PoE devices, verify power and grounding requirements, especially with the shielded F/FTP variant to maintain proper shielding continuity.
