WLAN-reititin TELTONIKA Altos CAP700000000 — 5G, Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be), 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, RJ‑45 WAN

TELTONIKA Altos CAP700000000 is a wireless router that combines 5G mobile connectivity with Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) support to provide high‑throughput wireless and wired networking for homes, small offices and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) scenarios. The device supports LTE and NR mobile standards and offers backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, enabling a wide range of client devices to connect. It runs Teltonika RutOS and can be managed remotely via the Remote Management System (RMS), providing centralized control and configuration for deployments where fiber or fixed broadband is unavailable or impractical.

Advantages

Altos integrates 5G and Wi‑Fi 7 technologies to deliver higher peak throughput and lower latency compared with previous generations, while retaining compatibility with existing Wi‑Fi standards. The router includes a RJ‑45 WAN option and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for LAN connectivity, allowing reliable wired backhauling or local network distribution with data rates up to 2500 Mbit/s. Security support covers modern encryption and authentication algorithms to protect wireless access and network traffic. The device’s tabletop form factor and USB port add deployment flexibility for home or small office setups.

Suitable for

• High‑speed home broadband and multimedia streaming
• Small office Internet access and remote work environments
• Fixed Wireless Access deployments where wired infrastructure is limited
• Low‑latency applications such as cloud services, videoconferencing and online gaming

How to use

Install the router on a flat surface in a location with good mobile signal reception or connect the RJ‑45 WAN to a fixed broadband source. Insert a compatible SIM card if using mobile 5G or LTE connectivity, then power the device and complete initial setup via the web interface or Teltonika’s RMS for remote provisioning. Configure SSIDs, security settings and network routing according to your network requirements. Connect wired devices to the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports or join wireless clients using Wi‑Fi 7 or legacy Wi‑Fi modes as supported.

Recommendations

For best performance, position the router where the 5G signal is strongest, keep firmware up to date via RutOS updates, and enable modern security modes (WPA3 where supported) to protect wireless networks. Use the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet LAN for high‑bandwidth wired devices and RMS for centralized monitoring and configuration in multi‑site deployments.
