How to use

Place the WMF Vitalis steamer on a pot or pan that matches the 28 cm diameter so that steam from simmering water rises through the steamer. Add water to the base pot without submerging the food, bring to a steady simmer and arrange food items in a single layer to ensure even steaming. Monitor water level during longer steaming sessions and replenish with hot water as needed. After use, allow the steamer to cool before cleaning to avoid warping or burns.

Recommendations

For best results, use filtered or boiled water to reduce mineral deposits and wipe the steamer dry after washing to maintain the stainless steel finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface; mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge are recommended.
