Why choose it

This detector goes beyond basic smoke alarms by integrating into a smart home ecosystem. Its air-sampling photoelectric sensor reduces false alarms from cooking fumes, while the wireless link ensures all detectors sound simultaneously when one is triggered. The long battery life and low-battery indicator mean minimal maintenance, and the tamper protection adds security against removal. With a wireless range of up to 200m open field, it's ideal for larger homes.

Ideal use cases

• Residential homes needing interconnected smoke detection across multiple rooms
• Smart home setups with Yale alarm systems for centralized monitoring
• Rental properties where easy installation and long battery life are essential
• Areas where wired detectors are impractical, such as historic buildings

Good to know

Installation is ceiling-mounted and straightforward, with a test button for regular checks. The LED status indicator provides visual confirmation. For full smart features, a Yale Smart Hub is required (sold separately). The detector is suitable for indoor use only.
