Yealink CPE90 hopea neuvottelumikrofoni

The Yealink CPE90 is a wired expansion microphone designed to work with the Yealink CP960 conference phone. It connects via a 1.8 m cable and provides additional microphone coverage to extend the conference phone's pickup area by up to 10 ft (approximately 3 m) and 360° of coverage. The compact silver unit with a low-profile stand measures 85.98 × 85.98 × 16.35 mm (with stand) and is intended to improve voice capture in meetings while remaining easy to place and integrate.

Advantages

The CPE90 offers extended audio range and full 360° pickup when used with the CP960, allowing clearer voice capture from participants located farther from the main unit. It uses wired connectivity for reliable audio transmission and features signal processing (echo cancellation and noise suppression) to reduce background noise and improve speech clarity. Its compact size and 1.8 m cable allow flexible placement in different room layouts.

Suitable for

• Small to medium conference rooms
• Boardrooms and meeting rooms requiring extended microphone coverage
• Hybrid meetings with multiple seated participants

How to use

Connect the CPE90 to an available expansion microphone port on the Yealink CP960 using the attached 1.8 m cable. Place the microphone on a flat surface in the area where additional coverage is required. For larger rooms, install one or two expansion microphones at opposite ends of the table to achieve balanced pickup. The microphone works automatically with the CP960's audio processing—no separate power or configuration is typically required.

Recommendations

Position the expansion mic on a stable surface and avoid placing it near loud noise sources (air vents, open windows, or speakers). Use up to two CPE90 units with a CP960 to ensure even coverage across the room and achieve the best audio quality by keeping a reasonable distance between microphones to prevent overlap.
