Yhdistelmäpihdit Knipex 01 06 190

The Knipex 01 06 190 Lineman's pliers are heavy-duty combination pliers made from forged chrome vanadium steel with oil hardening. At 190 mm length and 320 g weight, they combine durable construction with comfortable handling. The tool features long cutting edges and gripping zones for both flat and round material, designed to perform gripping, twisting and cutting tasks reliably.

Advantages

These lineman's pliers have induction-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 64 HRC for cutting soft, hard and piano wire, and particularly wear-resistant gripping jaws with a hardness of approximately 53 HRC. The long cutting edges enable cutting thicker cables, while the forged chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel and oil hardening provide increased durability.

Suitable for

• Gripping and twisting electrical conductors and wires
• Cutting soft, hard and piano wire
• Handling flat and round material in mechanical and installation work
• Cutting thicker cables where long cutting edges are required

How to use

Hold the pliers by the insulated plastic handles and place the workpiece between the appropriate gripping zones or cutting edges. Use the gripping zones for flat or round material to hold and twist conductors; position wire to be cut along the long cutting edges and close the handles with steady force. For piano wire and hard wire, use the induction-hardened cutting edges and apply controlled pressure. Maintain a firm, comfortable grip and avoid excessive bending of the tool.

Recommendations

For safe and long-lasting performance, keep the pliers clean and lightly lubricated, avoid cutting hardened materials beyond the specified use, and regularly inspect the cutting edges and jaws for wear. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
