ABB TM15/24 ovikellomuuntaja 15VA 24VAC DIN-kisko

The ABB TM15/24 stands apart from typical doorbell transformers by combining three selectable secondary voltages in one compact DIN-rail module, eliminating the need for separate units when installations call for 8 V, 12 V, or 24 V AC. Its 15 VA rated power and thermal protection make it a reliable backbone for residential and commercial bell systems, while the 2-module width keeps control cabinets tidy.

Highlights

• Selectable output: 8 V AC, 12 V AC, or 24 V AC via screw terminals
• 15 VA continuous power for doorbells, chimes, and signaling circuits
• Thermal short-circuit and overload protection for long service life
• DIN rail (REG) mounting with only 2 modules (36 mm) width
• Safety transformer according to EN 61558-2-8, insulation class E
• IP20 protection, suitable for distribution boards and dry indoor locations

In daily use

Installation is straightforward: snap the TM15/24 onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail, connect the 230 V AC primary, and choose the required secondary voltage by wiring to the appropriate output terminals. The screw terminals accept solid or stranded conductors up to 2.5 mm², and the clear labeling on the front face reduces wiring errors. Because the transformer is short-circuit proof by thermal design, momentary overloads from chime solenoids or long cable runs will not cause permanent damage. The operating temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C allows use in unheated entrance areas or utility rooms, though condensation must be avoided.
