ABUS Goose Lock 110 cm ketjulukko 4204K/110 pinkki

ABUS Goose Lock 110 cm chain lock 4204K/110 pink is a compact, 110 cm chain lock designed to secure bicycles, scooters and comparable personal transport in everyday urban environments. The lock combines a flexible chain jacket with a cylinder mechanism that delivers basic theft protection suitable for short stops and commuter use. Its length enables the chain to be threaded through frames and around fixed objects for stable anchoring while remaining easy to carry during transit.

Advantages

The chain construction provides flexibility for locking around different shapes and fixtures while the textile sleeve protects the vehicle finish from scratches and reduces noise during handling. The cylinder lock mechanism is simple to operate, offering quick locking and unlocking for frequent use. The 110 cm length offers a balance between reach and portability, allowing the lock to secure two-wheeled and lightweight electric vehicles to railings, bike stands or poles. The pink color improves visibility and helps identify personal equipment in shared or crowded parking areas.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles during short urban stops
• Locking scooters and kickboards in public spaces
• Temporary protection for hoverboards and small electric vehicles
• Commuter and campus parking where basic theft deterrence is sufficient

Key specifications

• Chain length: 110 cm
• Protective sleeve: textile covering to prevent paint damage
• Lock type: cylinder mechanism for manual key operation
• Protection level: basic theft protection for everyday use
• Color: pink
• Weight class: lightweight, portable design for commuting

How to use

Thread the chain through the frame and, if possible, through a wheel before looping it around a fixed, immovable object such as a bike rack or pole. Insert the chain end into the cylinder lock and turn the key to secure. Keep the lock and key dry and store them in a protected location when not in use. For convenient transport, wrap the chain and place it in a bag or over the shoulder; ensure the protective sleeve covers metal parts to avoid contact with the vehicle finish.

Recommendations

Use this chain lock for short-term parking in low- to medium-risk areas and combine it with additional security measures (such as anchoring the frame or using a secondary lock) in higher-risk locations. Regularly inspect the chain sleeve and cylinder for wear or corrosion and lubricate the lock cylinder occasionally to maintain smooth operation.
