Vaijerilukko FISCHER 85896 — 650 mm teräsvaijeri, 4-numeroinen yhdistelmä

FISCHER Cable Lock 85896 is a compact security cable featuring a 650 mm steel cable and a 4-digit combination mechanism. The flexible steel core is sheathed for surface protection and allows the cable to be wrapped around bicycle frames, scooters, backpacks or fixed objects. The keyless 4-digit code can be set and changed by the user, providing convenient, repeated locking for short-term parking and transport.

Advantages

The lock combines a thin but durable steel cable with a user-programmable 4-digit combination, eliminating the need for keys while keeping operation straightforward. Its compact length and flexible design make it easy to carry and to loop through narrow frame elements or straps. A protective outer coating reduces the risk of paint scratches and helps resist weathering during everyday outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles and scooters for short stops
• Locking backpacks, luggage straps or camera bags
• Protecting small outdoor equipment or tools during transport
• Temporary locking of helmets, baskets or child seats

Key specifications

• Cable length: 650 mm
• Cable material: steel core with protective sheath
• Lock type: 4-digit combination mechanism (keyless)
• Dimensions: compact, portable design suitable for storing in bags or mounted holders

How to use

Thread the cable through the object to be secured and around a fixed point, then insert the cable end into the lock body and scramble the digits to secure. To set or change the 4-digit code, follow the manufacturer’s included instructions: align the current code, open the lock, set the new code according to the reset procedure and confirm before closing. Regularly check that the cable and sheath are free of damage and that the combination dials move smoothly.

Recommendations

Use the lock as a deterrent for short-term parking and transport; for high-theft areas consider combining it with a heavier-duty lock. Store a written copy of the chosen code in a safe place and avoid obvious sequences. Inspect the sheath and dials periodically and avoid excessive force on the lock body to maintain reliable operation.
