ACT 17 metrin LSZH monimuotokuitu 50/125 OM3 kuitu-patchkaapeli duplex LC- ja SC-liittimillä

The ACT OM3 Fiber Patch Cable 17 meter Duplex LC SC Connectors is a multimode 50/125 patch lead designed for indoor network connections. This 17 m duplex cable provides two parallel optical channels with LC connectors on one end and SC connectors on the other, enabling full-duplex transmission for data center links, backbone runs and equipment interconnects. The cable jacket is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), reducing smoke and corrosive gas emissions in enclosed spaces and improving safety in installations within buildings and telecom rooms.

Advantages

The OM3 core and 50/125 µm multimode construction support high-bandwidth applications and work with common multimode transceivers. Duplex LC-to-SC termination offers flexible compatibility with devices and patch panels that use LC or SC ports. The LSZH jacket provides safer indoor deployment by limiting toxic fumes in the event of a fire, and the cable length of 17 meters allows for longer runs without intermediate splicing. Terminated connectors ensure predictable optical performance and straightforward plug-and-play installation.

How to use

Route the cable along existing cable trays, conduits or underfloor pathways, taking care to avoid tight bends and excessive stress on the fiber. Insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports on network equipment or patch panels until they click into place. Verify link and optical performance using the network equipment's diagnostics or an optical test instrument as required. When removing the cable, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

Maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber, keep connectors capped when not in use to prevent contamination, and perform regular visual inspection and, if necessary, cleaning of connector end faces with approved fiber cleaning tools to preserve optical performance.
