ACT 3 m Multimode 50/125 OM3 Duplex panssaroitu kuitu-patchkaapeli LC-liittimillä

The ACT RL3403 is a 3 m OM3 fibre optic cable with 2x LC connectors on each end and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full-duplex high-speed data transmission, this aqua-coloured patchcord is suitable for modern network installations and environments where reliable optical connectivity is required. For deployments in harsh conditions, consider using armored variants of patchcords that include a metal armor layer for enhanced mechanical protection.

Advantages

The cable provides OM3 multimode performance with a 50 µm core, supporting full-duplex connections via dual LC terminations. Its 3 m length balances reach and flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links. The aqua jacket simplifies identification in structured cabling environments. When mechanical durability is required, armored patchcord options add metal protection against crushing, abrasion and rodent damage.

How to use

Connect each LC connector pair to the corresponding LC ports on your transceivers, switches or patch panels observing proper polarity for full-duplex links. Route the cable along cable management paths and secure it with appropriate clips or ties without excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary to ensure low-loss connections.

Recommendations

For installations exposed to mechanical stress, moisture, or outdoor conditions, select an armored fibre patchcord variant to provide additional metal armor protection. Use dust caps when connectors are not mated and follow standard fibre-handling precautions to avoid damage and contamination.
