ACT 3 metrin LSZH multimode 50/125 OM4 kuituverkkokaapeli duplex SC-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex SC Connectors 3m OM4 50/125 is a 3‑meter multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data links. It has SC duplex connectors and a 50/125 µm core/cladding size (OM4) to support reliable, low‑loss multimode transmission. The cable jacket is LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen), suited for indoor installations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required. ACT is a telecommunications cabling company known for professional installation and attention to workmanship and integrity, and this cable is intended for use in structured networks and data center environments.

Advantages

The OM4 50/125 multimode construction provides improved bandwidth and performance for short‑reach high‑speed applications compared with lower OM ratings. SC duplex connectors deliver stable, easy‑to‑install terminations and secure physical connections. The 3 m length offers flexibility for patching between equipment in racks or cabinets. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic and corrosive gases in the event of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor use in commercial and technical spaces.

Suitable for

• Data center patch panels and server connections
• LAN backbone and equipment interconnects
• Telecommunications rooms and network cabinets
• Short‑reach multimode optical links (up to OM4 performance limits)

How to use

Route the cable between the two intended endpoints, avoiding tight bends and pinch points; maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fiber. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before making the connection to ensure low insertion loss. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it latches; verify link status on connected equipment. Store unused cable coiling loosely to avoid permanent bends.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 50/125 LSZH duplex SC patch cable for short‑reach, high‑bandwidth multimode links in data centers and network rooms. For optimal performance, keep connectors clean, respect bend radius limits, and select OM4 fiber where higher modal bandwidth is required. Do not use the cable in outdoor or direct burial installations.
