ACT 40 m monimuoto 50/125 OM3 duplex vahvistettu kuitukaapeli LC-liittimillä RL5104

For installations where ordinary patch cables fail, the ACT RL5104 ruggedized duplex fiber optic cable delivers OM3 multimode performance in a hardened jacket built to withstand demanding environments. Unlike standard 50/125 patch cords, this 40-meter LC-to-LC cable combines high modal bandwidth with physical resilience, making it ideal for industrial networking, backbone links between buildings, or any run where cables face mechanical stress, moisture, or temperature swings. The aqua jacket instantly identifies it as OM3, while the ruggedized construction ensures long-term signal integrity even when pulled through conduits or exposed to vibration.

Highlights

• 40-meter duplex multimode fiber with 50 µm core and 125 µm cladding
• OM3 laser-optimized fiber supports 10GbE up to 300 m and 40/100GbE up to 100 m at 850 nm
• LC connectors on both ends with PC polish for low insertion loss and high return loss
• Ruggedized jacket resists abrasion, crushing, and environmental stress
• Operating temperature range: -20°C to 70°C
• Compliant with RoHS, CE, and TIA/EIA-568-C.3

In daily use

This cable is a workhorse for high-speed data links in challenging settings. The duplex design provides two fibers for bidirectional communication, essential for Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand applications. The LC connectors are small form-factor, allowing high port density in patch panels and switches. The ruggedized jacket means you can route it through cable trays, under floors, or across factory floors without worrying about damage. With OM3's 1500 MHz·km modal bandwidth at 850 nm, you get headroom for future upgrades to 40G or 100G over shorter distances.
