ACT Cat 6A U/UTP solid installation -kaapeli, LSZH, CPR euroclass ECA 23AWG, violetti 500 metriä

The ACT XS6115 500m Cat6a U/UTP Violet networking cable is a 500-metre, reel-mounted Cat6a cable with U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) construction, designed for high-speed Ethernet and structured cabling environments. The cable's Cat6a specification supports elevated bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, while the violet jacket provides a distinct visual identification for organized cable runs in data closets and wiring ducts.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable on a reel combines extended length and uniform construction to simplify long runs and bulk installations. Its U/UTP design delivers consistent signal performance suitable for high-frequency transmissions, and the 500 m reel reduces the need for splicing or multiple shorter lengths. The violet outer jacket enables easy tracing and color-coded network segmentation. The product is suited to standard installation practices and general-purpose networking where a balance of performance and manageability is required.

How to use

Unwind the required length from the 500 m reel and cut to size using appropriate cable-cutting tools. Follow standard cable installation practices including maintaining bend radius, avoiding excessive pulling tension, and keeping the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference. Terminate the cable with compatible Cat6a-rated connectors and test each run with a certified cable tester to verify continuity, pair mapping, and performance parameters before placing the installation into service.

Recommendations

Store the reel on a stable support and protect the cable jacket from sharp edges during installation. Use the violet color to mark specific network segments, and consult installation standards for horizontal and backbone cabling to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
