Verkkokaapeli ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP RJ45 15 m valkoinen

ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP RJ45 15m White is a Category 6A patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. The 15 m cable uses S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce electromagnetic interference, while the LSOH jacket provides low smoke and halogen-free properties.

Advantages

The cable features a prepared double-shielded Twisted Pair construction with complete braid shielding and pairs wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil, delivering reliable protection against crosstalk and external noise. High-quality moulded RJ-45 plugs include kink protection for durability and flexible stranded copper conductors for easy routing in confined spaces. Contact wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 1:1 standard and the connectors have gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent electrical contact.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links (10 Gigabit capable in short runs within Cat6a specification)
• Office and data center horizontal and patch panel connections
• Network device-to-device connections (switch to server, switch to patch panel)
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Cable standard: Cat6a (Category 6A)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductors: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSOH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other to the corresponding port on the switch, patch panel or endpoint. Ensure both ends are firmly seated in the ports. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running it parallel and close to strong electrical sources to minimize interference. For installations in racks or conduits, maintain appropriate bend radius for stranded cables.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT.6a S/FTP patch cable in structured cabling up to the component level and follow the EIA/TIA cabling guidelines. Avoid excessive pulling force and sharp bends; replace if connectors or shielding are damaged.
