ACT ivory 0,5 metrin U/UTP CAT5E -verkkokaapeli RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Ivory 0.5m U/UTP CAT5E RJ45 patch cable is a short network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact setups. It features RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a PVC sheath, supports CAT5E performance and a bandwidth of 100 MHz, and uses AWG#24 conductors. The ivory color provides a neutral appearance suitable for home or office environments.

Advantages

This CAT5E U/UTP patch cable delivers stable data transmission up to 100 MHz and reduced interference due to its unshielded twisted-pair design. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve contact reliability and signal quality, while the 0.5 m length is convenient for short runs behind desks or between closely placed devices. The PVC sheath ensures basic mechanical protection and flexibility for typical indoor use.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers over short distances
• Patch panels and wall outlets in home or small office setups
• Closely spaced network devices where a short cable prevents cable clutter

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair), CAT5E
• Bandwidth: 100 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your devices until they click. Use the 0.5 m ACT Ivory CAT5E patch cable to link nearby devices such as a PC to a switch or a router to a modem. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use this cable for short, indoor Ethernet connections; replace the cable if connectors or the sheath show visible damage. For runs longer than 0.5 m or environments with high interference, consider a longer cable or shielded alternatives.
