ACT oranssi 1,50 metrin SFTP CAT6A -verkkokaapeli, rastnasenfrei RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange SFTP CAT6A patch cable, length 1.50 meter, is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It features S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil shields) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, snagless RJ45 connectors for protected plugs, and gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transfer. The 1.5 m length makes it suitable for short runs between switches, patch panels, routers and network devices in both home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection from external noise compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent conductivity over time. Snagless RJ45 boots reduce the risk of plug clip damage during installation and removal, increasing connector longevity. The CAT6A rating supports 10 Gbps Ethernet over short distances, fitting modern LAN requirements.

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector into the corresponding port on your network device until the latch clicks, ensuring a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Use the 1.50 m length to connect nearby devices such as a switch to a router, a workstation to a wall outlet, or equipment within a server rack. Avoid excessive bending beyond the cable's bend radius and do not pull the cable by the connector to prevent damage. If routing near sources of strong electromagnetic noise, position the cable to minimize parallel runs with power lines where possible.

Recommendations

For best performance maintain gentle bends, avoid sharp kinks, and ensure connectors are fully seated. Use SFTP CAT6A patch cables for runs where shielding is beneficial and when 10 Gbps performance is required within the supported distance. Inspect connectors for debris before plugging in and store coiled without tight loops to preserve cable integrity.
