ACT oranssi 7 m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Datacenter Slimline -verkkokaapeli ilman lukituskielekettä ja RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT DC9107 is a 7 m Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 networking cable designed for data centre and structured cabling environments. Its slimline design reduces cable diameter to 3.8 mm compared with regular Cat6 patch cords, improving bend radius and airflow inside server racks and network cabinets. The cable uses 28 AWG conductors compatible with Cat6 performance, noting higher attenuation at higher frequencies compared with 22–26 AWG variants. For PoE deployments ACT recommends keeping bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 cables to limit temperature rise.

Advantages

Slimline construction reduces cable diameter and improves airflow in dense rack installations. U/UTP configuration with RJ-45 gold-plated connectors provides reliable connections and corrosion resistance. The 7 m length offers flexibility for device placement in home or office networks while meeting Cat6 specifications for reliable Ethernet performance.

Suitable for

• Server racks and data centre patching where space and airflow are critical
• Office and home network connections between switches, patch panels and devices
• Environments requiring flexible cable routing with reduced bend radius

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall)
• Cable length: 7 m
• Conductor size: 28 AWG
• Diameter: 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Orange
• MPN: DC9107, EAN: 8716065510386

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other to a patch panel or another network device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to obtain reliable contact. Route the cable through cable management paths or trays, avoiding sharp bends tighter than the recommended bend radius. When bundling cables, follow the advised maximum of 24 cables for PoE applications to control temperature rise.

Recommendations

For Power over Ethernet (PoE) installations, limit bundled slimline 28 AWG Cat6 cables to no more than 24 in a bundle to keep the center-cable temperature increase below the guideline limit. Avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius and inspect RJ-45 terminations for secure seating to maintain optimal performance.
