ACT punainen 0,15 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datakeskuksen slimline-patchkaapeli lukitussuojalla ja RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Red 0.15m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline data center patch cord designed for high-speed network connections. With a 0.15 m length, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, this red CAT6A cable combines a reduced diameter and LSZH jacket to improve cable routing in tight server racks and to meet safety requirements for low-smoke, zero-halogen installations.

Advantages

The slimline U/FTP construction reduces cable diameter (approximately 3.8 mm vs. typical 5.9 mm), which lowers the bending radius and improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets. LSZH material reduces toxic emissions in case of fire. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and gold-plated contacts ensure reliable electrical connection. The cable supports CAT6A performance while saving space in high-density environments.

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or network devices. Route the slimline cable through cable management channels or between equipment in the rack, keeping bends gentle in order to preserve signal integrity. For power-over-Ethernet (PoE) deployments, follow the vendor guidelines for bundle sizing and monitor operating temperature where multiple power-carrying cables are bundled together.

Recommendations

Although standards typically specify 22–26 AWG for patch cords, slimline CAT6A cables may use thinner conductors (up to 32 AWG), which increases attenuation at higher frequencies. ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 cables for PoE applications to limit temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends that the centre cable temperature increase remain under 15 °C above ambient.
