ACT sininen 0,5 metrin LSZH U/UTP CAT6 DataCenter Slimline verkkokaapeli, ilman lukituskieltä RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Blue 0.5m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable is a slimline Ethernet lead designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and confined network installations. With a 0.5 m length, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it provides reliable copper connectivity. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions for safer indoor use. The slim 3.8 mm diameter and reduced bending radius improve cable routing and airflow within cabinets compared with standard CAT6 patch cords.

Advantages

Slimline construction reduces diameter and bending radius, allowing denser cable routing and improved airflow in racks and cabinets. LSZH outer jacket limits smoke and halogen release in case of fire. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts and snagless boots improve contact reliability and simplify installation. U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) CAT6 design supports high-speed networks while maintaining a compact form factor.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections in data centres and server cabinets
• High-density rack installations and cable management in confined spaces
• Indoor installations where low-smoke, zero-halogen materials are required
• Local connections between network switches and servers or patch panels

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 U/UTP
• Length: 0.5 m
• Diameter (slimline): approx. 3.8 mm
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless boots, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Brand: ACT, MPN: DC9600, EAN: 8716065404517

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device (switch, patch panel or server) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors fully click into place. Route the slimline cable along existing cable management paths to maintain airflow and avoid tight bends below the specified bending radius. For consistent performance, avoid excessive tension or crushing of the cable during installation.

Recommendations

Use 28 AWG slimline patch cables for short links; note that thinner conductors can increase attenuation at higher frequencies, so ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords. In PoE applications, limit bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 cables to help control temperature rise in the bundle, and follow current standards (ANSI TSB-184-A) to keep the centre-cable temperature increase below 15 °C above ambient.
