Adapteri ShiverPeaks 13-40002 USB 3.1 Type-C uros liitäntään naaras 90° kulma-adapteri

The ShiverPeaks 13-40002 USB 3.1 Type C right-angle adapter converts a Type-C male plug into a Type-C female socket oriented at 90°, enabling a low-profile connection where space is limited. It preserves USB 3.1 signalling for data transfer and charging while changing the plug direction to route cables neatly along the device edge. The compact construction is intended for use with laptops, smartphones, tablets, external drives and other devices equipped with USB Type-C.

Advantages

This right-angle adapter reduces cable strain and prevents excessive protrusion of connectors by redirecting the cable parallel to the device surface. It maintains USB 3.1 compatibility to support high-speed data transfer rates and power delivery within the limits of connected devices and cables. The adapter's compact form factor simplifies connections in tight spaces behind furniture, in docking stations and in portable setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting Type-C cables to laptops or tablets in confined workspaces
• Routing USB-C cables along the device edge to avoid bends or kinks
• Using external SSDs or HDDs where a low-profile connector improves fit
• Charging smartphones or power delivery devices with reduced cable stress

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type-C male to USB Type-C female
• Angle: 90° orientation to alter cable direction
• Standard support: USB 3.1 signalling preserved for data and power (subject to connected devices and cables)
• Form factor: compact, low-profile right-angle adapter
• Primary use: data transfer and charging with Type-C devices

How to use

Insert the adapter's Type-C male plug into the device's Type-C port so the female socket faces the desired direction for your cable routing. Then connect a Type-C cable or accessory to the adapter's female socket. Ensure both the adapter and the cable are fully seated and aligned to avoid damage to the connector. Verify device recognition and charging or data transfer functionality after connection.

Recommendations

Use this adapter with cables and devices rated for the required USB 3.1 data speeds and power delivery. Avoid applying excessive force or twisting the connector when inserting or removing cables. For continuous heavy charging or high-performance external drives, ensure adequate ventilation and avoid tight bends in the cable near the adapter.
